In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to work more effectively with systems-involved male clients through a greater understanding of gender socialization, culturally responsive practices, the impact of environmental stressors, and systemic oppression. Child welfare professionals can gain insight on strategies to use to aid in their work with systems-involved male clients as well as tools for becoming more culturally responsive in their work. Come learn how to draw out youth emotions, ideas, voice and motivation so that we may achieve targeted client outcomes and collectively build more peaceful, just and equitable communities.
