This training focused on the exploration of various identities. This focus will help to support continued development in working across and within diverse cultural groups. The training will focus on understanding concepts including bilingualism, emotional language, language as a defense, and cultural matches v. non-matches with youth/families. The training will utilize the perspectives of communicating in non-native languages and working cross-culturally with youth/families with a different ethnic/racial/cultural background.
