“Strategies to Address Vicarious Trauma Part 2” builds upon “Strategies to Address Vicarious Trauma” Given the high degree of vicarious trauma experienced by social service professionals in child welfare, it is necessary we strive for health and wellness so we can provide the quality of services we aim to serve. In this course, we will talk further about the impact of bearing witness to our clients trauma and ways in which we can protect ourselves from the negative impact and experience vicarious resilience and compassion satisfaction.
