This innovative workshop focuses on a new concept called vocational self-efficacy. Vocational self-efficacy is the powerful internal voice and belief system that tells people how they do or do not fit into the world of work. Some of the people we serve have no vocational self-efficacy. These individuals cannot see themselves in the world of work. Others have fixed vocational self-efficacy. They can see themselves in entry level jobs, but not in apprenticeships, career pathways or succeeding in education. But people with growing vocational self-efficacy see themselves as making ongoing progress at work, school and in other areas of their lives. How do we help people develop growing vocational self-efficacy? This powerful webinar will take you deep into vocational self-efficacy. Learnings can be applied to work with the TAY population.
