Virtual Instructor Led Training

The goal of this training is for participants to integrate developmental theories and models into providing telehealth services to children and youth, including collaborative work with parents and caregivers. The training will provide opportunities for participants to explore some of these telehealth tools such as virtual play tools. The training will also integrate telehealth adaptations of some culturally-adapted interventions in working with Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) children and their families. Finally, the training will culminate in the participants’ development of a tentative plan on how to further learn about and implement telehealth children-focused strategies and tools in their individual practice.
