Foster Care Training

This workshop will provide a psycho-social-historical context to help better understand the experience of inner city African American youth and their families. Participants will be invited to explore the stereotypes that exist in society and the impact that such stereotypes have on this community. The workshop will conclude with specific intervention strategies that can be utilized immediately with clients. A variety of modalities will be utilized including experiential exercises and lecture.
