Foster Care Training

This training is created to provide an overview of the requirements and guidelines of Interim Licensing Regulations and how to maintain compliance in the home. Reviewing how the RFA process will improve the way caregivers (related and non-related) for children in foster care are approved and prepared to parent vulnerable children, whether temporarily or permanently. Regulations changes will be identified and compared to previous regulations. Prudent Parent Standards reviewed and examples used to give caregivers real life scenarios that may arise and how to characterize by careful and sensible parental decisions that maintain the child’s health, safety, and best interests.
