Gun violence impacts many system-involved youth and their families. It has been highlighted in the media with mass shootings, police brutality and murders. Given the fact that gun violence touches so many lives, it’s important for the people who support foster youth to understand gun violence in order to support system-involved youth most effectively when gun violence touches their lives.
