Engaging youth remotely has recently become a necessity due to COVID-19. This training will address the multiple issues associated with remote services including limitations and possible adaptations to best serve youth. Working with children, and foster youth specifically, necessitates further considerations of establishing effective relationships within the context of remote services, access to technology, availability of tools for engagement and screening, the potential impact on the validity of the information provided by youth, and providing verbal feedback to enhance likelihood of youth/families utilizing recommendations.
