This 4.5-hour course is designed to provide staff serving in Group Homes and STRTP’s behavior management strategies for staff working with traumatized youth and families. The aim of the course is to assist those helping children and teens who might be considering suicide or have attempted in the past and their families. Using lecture, large and small group discussions, handouts and case examples, participants will look at recent statistics, warning signs and best practice treatment options for system-involved youth and caregivers.
