Foster Care Training

Trainer will overview how resource parents and agency staff can and will support any youth from initial placement through the adoption process. Also throughout the presentation, trainer discusses the impact of adoption on all members of the family as well as the child’s birth family, both negative and positive; with emphasis on open, clear and timely communication with the youth, the family, county personnel, county counsel and any other involved entities. Discussion of necessary paperwork and record-keeping throughout the process including finalization.
