If you are a professional working with court dependent families and the agencies that serve them, you are at increased risk for health concerns. This course includes strategies for maintaining physical, emotional and psychological health at work and at home. You will leave this course being able to recognize signs of stress and poor health, and be confident in your ability to take effective action to prevent burnout. Participants will learn how to engage clients in a health-minded parallel process using these strategies. By keeping everyone’s health at the forefront of services, you will support your clients in retaining previous skills they’ve gained from you during services.

*Participants can utilize their new skills and knowledge after the training to reinforce their learning by:
  1. Adopting new work-related practices to lower their stress levels.
  2. Implementing new strategies to help support clients learn new skills to support their own personal health.
