This is the fourth training in a series of skill-based trainings on the topic of family support, and will provide concepts and opportunity to practice direct skills related to enhancing family’s ability to enact their goals by directly addressing problematic family systems dynamics. This is relevant to providers responsible for providing effective support to families with children returning from, or at risk of entering, out of home care. In this course, participants will learn about their own skills as related to courage, and be aware of any dynamics that block them from effectively managing family dynamics. They be provided with examples of courageous conversation skills and given the opportunity to practice with other participants.
