Foster Care Training

Given the prevalence of domestic violence with transitional age youth as well as teens, it’s crucial service and care providers, foster parents and other natural supports know how to create safety plans with survivors. This training will provide an overview of safety planning within the framework of harm reduction. Participants will learn how to safety plan for those still in violent relationships as well as individuals who are ready to leave them or have left them.
