This training will review services and resources available to transitional age youth. TAY present with unique needs based on their stage of development, degree of independence, and at times due to a higher level of risk and need. This training will review services for helping youth and young adults in the foster care system to address high levels of mental health crisis and needs identified to move from residential treatment to community-based support and placements. Additionally, this training will review supports and resources available to youth who are at risk or actively being sexually exploited. Their needs, as well as strategies to support these youth, will be discussed.
