This training for service providers looks at Narrative Family service approaches that can be used to externalize problem narratives and utilize strengths within the family system. The training will utilize didactic and experiential approaches to introduce key concepts and techniques of Narrative Therapy. Selected readings that exemplify the use of Narrative Therapy in “real world” situations with families will be provided for participants. Additionally, participants will be referred to additional informational resources and connections to the international Narrative Therapy community.
