This training will serve as an introduction to understanding the potential benefits of using a Narrative/post modern approach when working with foster kids and families. The training will utilize didactic and experiential approaches to introduce key concepts of Narrative/Post Modern approaches. Selected readings that exemplify the use of narrative approaches in “real world” situations with families will be provided for participants. Additionally, participants will be referred to additional informational resources and connections to the international community using narrative approaches.
