This training utilizes a children’s book for caregivers to read and discuss in a book club setting, then share with the children who join their families. Register in time to get the book prior to the meeting, Books will be mailed out. Trainer: Carole Loudd, MA Maybe Days: A book for Children in Foster Care by Jennifer Wilgocki and Alissa Kahn Wright is directed toward young foster children from pre-school to 2nd grade. The book’s description notes that for many children the answer to their questions of often “maybe”. This children’s book focuses on the questions they ask; the feelings they confront and explains in a child’s terms the responsibilities of everyone involved-parent’s, social works, lawyers and judges, as well as the child’s part.
