Foster Care Training

Participants will be exposed to an overview of motivational interviewing strategies that can be useful for working with youth in care. This training will provide a definition of Motivational Interviewing and the two main components of Motivational Interviewing: spirit and skills. The training will also review the process of MI and the skills used to move through a typical MI interaction. The training will end with 2-3 practical applications that participants can immediately use in their work.
