Autism can be difficult to distinguish from other child and adolescent diagnoses, and it is under diagnosed in children of color. Participants will recognize symptoms that are indicative of autism, and will understand the importance of early, organized, specific interventions for those diagnosed with autism. Interventions highlighted for older youth will include Social skills programming and de-escalation strategies. Practical strategies will be offered for supporting youth and their caregivers.
