4-Day Training Series: February 20 and 26, March 26 and 27, 2020

All youth need an asset base of healthy, supportive and safe connections which ultimately lead to a robust and active network that support them for free, and forever. Youth in foster care rarely have access to these essential connections and networks. Healing Networks will provide examples of extraordinary frameworks that can improve safety, well-being, and permanency outcomes for children in out-of-home care, and how they can be used to find families of children who currently have no family connections and help permanently connect children with their kin.  The training will explore how to help build networks for youth as well as address a youth’s trauma to help them build their own resilience and strength, thus empowering youth to be able to claim their story and build their own networks. Participants of this training will learn to tune into what youth are going through as they are perceived, develop to build strengths, seize their stories, and have it so they no longer need to rely on our services.
