Participants will learn to approach teens by looking at their teens’ situation from the teen’s perspective. This method allows teens to form healthy attachments and promote healthy relationships. In this shift of perspective, participants will gain insight into what is triggering a teen’s behavior. With these tools parents, caregivers, systems staff and teens can get unstuck simply by looking at a situation with new eyes. This often results in changes in thoughts and actions for all involved. As participants learn to respond in different ways, a pathway for the teen is illuminated fostering optimum collaboration.
