Training Summary: The pandemic has had significant impact on the ways that we maintain safe contact with one another and our clientele. This workshop will help mental health professionals and advocates have increased understanding of appropriate boundaries, ethical considerations, and other implications to consider when using telehealth and social media in the context of client contact or other aspects of our work.
Participants will be able to:
-Participants will identify 2-3 professional boundaries to consider with clientele and caregivers when using technology.
-Participants will be able to describe best practices to use in virtual and social media platforms.
-Discuss the nuances of ethical considerations in terms of ensuring inclusivity of people from marginalized communities.
