The purpose of this training is for trainees to better understand their clients when working with youth in care. This training will focus on building participants’ understanding of how poverty, isolation, lack of resources, and instability affect youth in care. The training will provide participants with techniques to help youth explore and express emotions and feelings. The workshop will help participants show empathy and warmth to youth.
