Foster Care Training

ONLINE COURSE:

This course aims to build self-awareness, knowledge, and skills in order for providers to deliver culturally humble services to youth and families who interact with the foster care and community mental health systems. Participants will build understanding of vocabulary related to cultural humility, diversity, equity, and inclusion; reflect on their own areas of bias, privilege, and oppression and how this shows up in our work; build skills around culturally humble dialogues that may occur on interpersonal and institutional/ agency-wide levels; and explore how areas of privilege/ oppression may be disrupted or perpetuated as we serve our communities.
