Our success in meeting targeted outcomes with systems involved youth is based on strong program planning and design as well as constant development, monitoring and evaluation. In this interactive workshop, we will first examine key components of an effective program design and development process – including needs assessment, setting goals and objectives, logic models, and performance measurement – then practice them together through engaging exercises. Participants are encouraged to bring a program they either wish to launch or hope to take to the next level, so that they can engage peers and the workshop facilitator in applying tools offered to further their program development. Through the workshop, participants will clarify the goals, objectives and activities needed to achieve the results our clients and communities most need.
