Foster Care Training

This training will support participants in developing further tools and strategies to support system-involved youth who are experiencing crisis and distress. Participants will explore the ways that behavior impacts behavior by reflecting on their own escalation curve and how it might impact young people’s escalation. Participants will practice de-escalation strategies together and work towards a deeper understanding of non-punitive and non-retaliatory strategies for use with system-involved youth to support improved outcomes.
