Foster Care Training

The Culturally Responsive Services to Children in Foster Care training series is targeted to providers working with children in foster care. The aim of the training is to increase cultural responsiveness by increasing provider’s capacities working within a social justice framework thereby developing the provider’s ability to understand the diverse cultural experiences of children in foster care and acquire the skills necessary to work with birth parents and caregivers of children in out of home placement. The training occurs in a seminar/workshop and is part of an ongoing series.
