Foster Care Training

Given the disproportionate number of youth of color in the foster care and juvenile justice sys-tem, it’s imperative for providers, caregivers and natural support people to provide culturally relevant services. This training will explore cultural perspectives on trauma, healing, and resili-ency. With a greater cultural understanding of these concepts, providers will be able to increase their engagement with system involved youth and families in more culturally meaningful ways.
