The training workshop focuses on how to assess and intervene with foster youth in the areas of suicidal ideation and Tarasoff. A trauma-informed care lens will be used throughout the training. This training will utilize case vignettes and small group sharing to teach the skills needed for properly and effectively assessing for risks related to suicidal thoughts and behaviors, as well as risks related to danger to others/Tarasoff.
