Foster Care Training

This training is intended to provide an overview of best and innovative practices for creating affirming spaces for queer and trans youth who have system-involvement. Topics to be discussed include: Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE) terminology, the historical and current marginalization and criminalization of queer and trans community, protective laws and regulations and best practices for supporting queer and trans youth on institutional and individual levels.
