This training will engage participants in challenges and activities which will help express the links between within hip hop history and youths’ experiences. The focus of this training will be to help participants learn methods to engage youth in exploration and acknowledgement of their own past in relation to relevant events in hip hop. The linkage will then be used to help youth build their own narrative while reinforcing resiliency and empowerment.
