Who is responsible for finding extra-curricular activities for foster children, for helping them explore their interests or find new ones? It comes down to the Resource Parents, with plenty of input from their youth in care. This training is designed to help resource parents connect their youth in care to free and fun activities in their communities. Some of the resources are available only in the summer and some all year. There will be information on resources in city, county and state programs that are available to benefit the youth we serve.
