Barriers to completing paperwork and meeting productivity deadlines are a common stressor for providers in mental health and social services agencies working with system involved youth. In this course participants will explore emotional reasons for resisting paperwork (it reminds us of homework, it raises our authority issues, it challenges our perfectionism, we fear criticism) and struggling over meeting productivity goals. Participants will have the opportunity to explore and eliminate their blocks and develop a plan to stay on top of paperwork and productivity in order to provide better care to the youth and families served.

*Participants can utilize their new skills and knowledge after the training to reinforce their learning by:
  • Using self-care plan made in class to keep up with paperwork and productivity
  • Practicing self-care techniques and teaching them to co-workers
