This training series for service providers will review skills for engaging and collaborating with diverse families. While foster care providers must address the challenges of improving child safety, well-being, and stability, they also must meet the needs of an increasingly culturally and ethnically diverse child welfare population. This series of trainings will review how important it is to consider culture when working with youth in out of home care, how to improve communication across diverse cultures and to support foster parents provide culturally relevant caregiving.
