This course provides as general overview of MI open-ended questions, affirmations, reflections, and summaries (OARS) along with the skills and concepts to understand the spirit of MI, the four processes of MI, value work, assessing the client communication (sustain talk, change talk, discord), goal setting/focusing, and change plans to further enhance or consolidate the client’s level of motivation.
