System-involved youth and families require culturally responsive care and services. For those who identify as native or indigenous, there are added challenges for services providers who do not identify similarly to understand individual, familial, and cultural needs. In this training, the lead trainer, Avelina Rogel, provides information about infuse holistic and indigenous approaches for work with Latinx families. This training reviews mental health approaches that focus on the reclamation, reconnection, and strengthening of ancestral knowledge, particularly focused on native communities.
