Lynn Robinson, LMFT – In this training students learn attachment theories, and means to develop attachments with clients with maladaptive attachment patterns. Students also come to see attachment as the means through which infants learn co-regulation, which leads to a child capable of achieving self-regulation. Students learn how disrupted attachment and neglect lead to a child who is unable to regulate him or herself, and students practice methods of achieving co-regulation with dysregulated clients.
