Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder currently affects 1-in-100 adults and 1-in-200 children and adolescents. Most persons impacted by OCD first develop symptoms during older childhood or in older adolescence. Moreover, OCD is often comorbid with anxiety, depressive, and other body focused habit-based conditions such as Tourettes, hair pulling or skin picking. In this workshop, we will cover the basics of assessing OCD and related conditions and the fundamentals of the front-line interventions for these conditions, namely exposure-and-response prevention therapy.
