Harm reduction is being identified as a best practice for CSEC. This 1-day course will provide an overview of harm reduction and apply it with CSEC. The trainers will focus on applying harm reduction principles in alignment with the Stages of Change model. The trainers will also touch on risk assessments and safety plans. This course will better equip providers to effectively meet system-involved youth where they’re at in their process and build off safety strategies they’re currently using.
