Supervision present unique challenges to supervisors working in both social services and mental health settings with system involved youth. In the course participants will learn how to identify and address: difficult issues which commonly occur in supervision; the impact of vicarious traumatization on supervisees and supervisors; and time management and paperwork issues for both supervisees and supervisors. They will also learn how to teach supervisees to integrate theory in their intervention planning and implementation.
