In this workshop, participants will be able to experientially learn first-hand and learn to use interactive techniques to engage with a diverse population of clients including children, youth and families. Participants will also understand basic foundations of Expressive Arts (EXA’s) best practices and how embodied methods can be tools used to better engage clients and enliven treatment via online telehealth sessions.

The session will be conducted like a retreat for participants to learn and practice methods that are taught. NO prior experience needed and all exercises occur at one’s own pace. Participants are encouraged to arrive in comfortable clothes and be ready to sit, stand and move as much as they are able, interacting virtually at times. Background pre-reading will be sent. It will be referenced in brief during the session, please review in advance and bring any questions for Q &A throughout.
