Acculturation is an issue that can greatly impact the way a person is able to engage with the world. Participants will engage in a discussion of acculturation and cultural differences. Participants will review Berry’s Acculturation Model and consider their family’s own acculturation history. The training will explore challenges of acculturation and the ways in may affect the clients to whom they are providing services.
