Foster Care Training

Gender inequality shows up in many ways from pay inequality, opportunities one has, exposure to violence, objectification, discrimination, etc. It’s important for providers, foster parents, and natural supports to understand how gender inequality shows up and how to help youth and young adults when they experience gender inequality. In the training, we will look at examples of gender inequality in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems, healthcare systems, educational system and the workplace.
