In part 2, participants will review basic information about the link between early childhood trauma and sensory integration that was taught in part I. Participants will participate in sensory-motor activities to build an understanding of how various materials and strategies can be used with children and families to support emotional and physical regulation. This training will review the process of sensory integration, the 8 senses, the impact of trauma on developing brain as relates to sensory processing, and how to identify sensory processing difficulties in children.  Please email WestCoast’s training department if you would like to attend this training at [email protected].
