Foster Care Training

This training seminar focuses on various components of play with children & youth, such as origins, concepts of play, particularly as it pertains to working with development & trauma with youth in care. This training will explore the obstacles to normative development created by trauma and how play can serve as a window into seeing how trauma is manifesting in children. Barriers to working with children and youth will be reviewed, and strategies, such as play for engagement and collaboration with children & youth will be covered.
