Foster Care Training

In this workshop, participants will explore positive parenting, in particular, as applies to working in a manner that is developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive with youth in the foster care system. Topics to be covered will include, but are not limited to: discipline styles, constructive responding to challenging behaviors, encouraging desirable behaviors, all the while strengthening positive self-efficacy/self-agency and building positive self-reinforcing relationships.
