Foster Care Training

The 3-5-7 Model™ is a core child welfare practice which provides a guided approach to permanency. It incorporates theoretical underpinnings from grief work, child development, attachment, separation and loss, trauma, family systems and relationship development. It also supports the belief that families, children and youth have the ability to resolve their needs if provided the support and time to do so. An onsite overview of the 3-5-7 Model™ will include an orientation and model overview. The second day of onsite training focusing on the application of the model in practice.
